Diana DeFazio

Client Support

Diana has worked for nonprofit organizations both locally and in Alaska as a staff member, volunteer, and board member, giving her a uniquely well-rounded view of the daily ins-and-outs that run these institutions. While serving in these different capacities, she has developed a big picture perspective of the value of the legal services and board trainings offered by the Center for Nonprofit Law. Diana brings her professional experience and enthusiasm for the important and diverse work of nonprofits to her role as our Client Support Specialist.

Diana spent 14 years in Alaska before returning to her home state of Oregon. While in Alaska, she worked in communications and outreach for Alaska Marine Conservation Council, a community-based fisheries conservation organization and Alaska Community Action Non-Toxics, an environmental health and justice organization.

Outside of work, Diana likes to spend time exploring in the mountains, cross-country skiing in the winter and on foot in the summer. When not headed out of town, she enjoys working on her home landscape, transforming her existing lawn into a vibrant native plant community that attracts birds and pollinators, and focuses on water conservation.
