Emma is a dedicated and compassionate individual whose journey began at Oregon State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Since graduation, Emma has been on a journey dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. Shortly before the pandemic, she took on a role as a medical assistant at Planned Parenthood. During the pandemic, Emma played a crucial part in the development of telemedicine practices that continue to be utilized to this day, increasing the accessibility of healthcare. Emma's commitment to the cause went beyond the clinic's walls. She lent her support to the unionization efforts of Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon as a vital member of the contract action team, advocating for the rights and well-being of her colleagues.

At the core of Emma's passions lies a fervent dedication to empowering and enriching equity and inclusion across all facets of life. She firmly believes that progress towards a fair and just society necessitates recognizing and addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Emma finds inspiration in various creative outlets. She is a musician, a photographer, and a yoga instructor. Emma also loves to explore the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, often accompanied by her two feline companions, Yuzu and Chia.
